My Damson is coming along nicely. It has been perfect for the college road trip knitting. So far, I’ve been doing most of the driving and my son – sleeping. But there has also been plenty of time waiting while he auditions and takes theory tests. I’m a little worried that the finished size will not be appropriate for my “linebacker” back, but I think it can also be worn as a triangular scarf. If that doesn’t work, I have daughters.
For Kate’s Lace Knit-A-Long, I have decided on the “My Blue Jeans Shawl”. The pattern is written for lace weight, the weight of my yarn. I didn’t want to have to re-write the pattern or do any math during this busy period of my life. I also think that it’s a simple enough pattern to showcase the lace and the yarn variegation. Probably the biggest influence in making the decision is the color “blue” in the name! (I’m such a bad consumer – that’s how I make decisions sometimes!)
fabulous projects, jane. 🙂
Very pretty! That will be a fun project for you, Jane. 🙂
The blue shawl is so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about your progress.
They both look fantastic. I have yarn waiting to be knitted up into a Damson, too!
My Blue Jeans is beautiful regardless of how you came to the decision to knit it!
