My customers rock, as usual! I love the new ideas they request. These sweet little keepsake pillows are made from kids’ clothes. Both have special meaning to my customer and she asked to have them made into pillows.
I started with these shirts. For the pink shirt, I had to remove the ribbon trim and stitch it down at a tighter angle because I couldn’t get a nice shape and wanted to retain both bows. I made a small pillow insert to put inside the outer shirt shells. They are approximately 8 inches square.
On the back, I embroidered the child’s name and birth date.
