This is an amazing T Shirt Quilt Blanket made by a lovely customer and loyal blog reader Karen! ( Even though she is from Michigan, I still love her!) She grew up in the greater Cleveland area and her nephew recently graduated. She made this amazing blanket for him!
She’s a bit of a kindred spirit. She’s an engineer by training, an accomplished sewist and mom to four kids. She began the quilt on her own, but became a bit overwhelmed by the pressure of completing it for her nephew’s party which was the following day.
She bought my pattern and told me that it calmed her down and cleared up her concerns. It was so nice of her to share her gratitude with me – and her amazing quilt!
I’m starting a Pinterest Board just for customer creations and logging them on my Facebook page.
As always, I’m inspired by my wonderful customers and appreciate all your feedback!
It looks great!
Hope you have a good week!
It turned out great!
Wonderful – I still have my bag of T-shirts and your pattern…it will happen this summer! Yesterday, my youngest daughter was de-cluttering and tried to get me to pitch it, but I am determined and said no-way They just smiled and and gave me “that look”…now I am more determined. ! I was looking at the quilt on your blog and saw the the square of “Bare Naked Ladies” ! One of my favorite songs is “If I had a million dollars” by them…if you haven’t heard before, look it up on You Tube…it is an awesome song that never fails to make me smile! Great job on the quilt…one day, mine will be on your blog!
