As some parents are sending forth their kids to college, I am wrapping up a few high school T Shirt blankets!
This first one is actually for a student entering her high school year. She asked that I place her varsity letters on it so I sewed them down at the intersections.
I’m thrilled that she is going to use the blanket in her senior portraits and can’t wait to see them!
This blanket, for a talented young dancer, features two shirts that have a bit of shimmer in them. I found this purple flannel that has glitter in it! I thought it added just a bit of bling to go with the shiny shirts!
Congratulations to all the 2012 high school graduates and best wishes as you move in to college in the coming weeks. Best wishes to all the parents, too! (I will be celebrating….)
They are both wonderful. I really love the idea of the Varsity Letters in the intersections. What a great memory for that student. What do you do with your varsity jacket later in life anyway? This can be used forever.
I agree with Cinders. My varsity jacket is hanging in my parent’s hall closet…this is a great idea!
