Did you ever wonder what my blankets look like being used? Scroll down to see my boys on the couch! This quilt is a donation and I used a sweatshirt grey on the back. It makes a nice, thin blanket that I think would be great as a stadium blanket. At first the boys weren’t sure they liked it as much as the fuzzy polar fleece, but after a minute under it, they didn’t want me to pull it off!
This blanket is a 9-Block T Shirt quilt that is going to be a shower present. The fabrics were picked out by the customer. I think the “I Love Mommy and Daddy” fabric is adorable! It’s a sweet, cozy flannel that goes so nicely with the minky dot backing!
The shirts are a blend of shirts from mom- and dad-to-be. The center shirt is the shirt the woman was wearing the first time she met her husband-to-be!
Ready for baby…..
So neat that the mom to be still had the shirt from when she met her husband. I don’t have it, but I remember the shirt I was wearing when I met my guy. A long sleeve turquoise polo with a white collar and a band of pink and white stripes. Very preppy. I can’t believe I wore it to a frat party. What can I say. It was the early 90’s!
Elizabeth, I could completely picture you preppy (and ever so cute!) I’m sure it was love at first sight – at least for him!
P.S. Your cute sons look so comfy!
