I have been putting a few miles on my new sewing machine. I made eight of these tote bags for a friend. She filled them with monogrammed towels, candles, lotions, and other goodies for her girlfriends.
I love the color combination. It reminds me of a warm Cabernet and some chocolate. (At the wine tasting earlier this year, I learned that chocolate pairs well with port wine.)
The bag is completely reversible, constructed of gorgeous home decorator fabric, and fits over your shoulder.
I think they would make the perfect Valentine’s bag for yourself or a friend. Wine and chocolate – without the calories! (See the complete listing on my Etsy shop here.)
I recently discovered an amazing eco-artist and her shop and blog: Waterstone She is currently featuring studio spaces weekly on her blog. You will be inspired by everything you see there! I am excited that I will be sharing my space on her blog in a couple weeks and will celebrate with a giveaway here. Stay tuned for details!
Love those colors, it’s a gorgeous bag!
Nice bag! So roomy and sturdy. I’ll be keeping an eye out for your giveaway …
This is a gorgeous bag! It would be perfect for lugging around my knitting notions or library books.
After reading your posts, I always feel the need to dust off the sewing machine and get to learning some new things. Curse my knitting needles for always calling me, instead. 🙂
