Aren’t these place mats and coasters adorable?  They were a birthday gift from my darling daughter.  She toiled away in her loft for hours!  They certainly add a bit of excitement to my boring dinner table.

Annie, at 14, has become a budding entrepreneur.  She worked for many hours preparing for a craft show this fall and was quite successful!  (I am going to post about the lessons we learned from that craft show on a future post.)

Annie has photographed her remaining items as well as recent creations and has a full shop of 45 items called Pink Paintbrush.

Her items are geared toward teens and young ladies, although ladies of all ages will enjoy them!  Her clutch purses are a great size for a night on the town or shopping trip.  They also make a great gift.  Many of her 20-something cousins have purchased the bags from her.
Her Ipod and cell phone cases are equally popular.  Her friends and family came out to support her during the craft fair and gobbled these up!
Annie enjoys painting in creative ways, hence the name of her shop.  She has created some cute wall decorations.
Annie sold a lot of lanyards at the craft show and has continued to have a lot of word-of-mouth business from fellow teens, nurses, teachers and college students.
Finally, she created a variety of necklaces, mostly in the form of “spirit wear” for those involved in the music and theater arts.
I’m very proud of her hard work and accomplishments.  Annie would like to give a lanyard to one lucky reader.  To enter, simply visit Pink Paintbrush and leave a comment on this blog post telling us your favorite item in her shop.  The contest is open to US readers and will close on Saturday 2/12/11 at 12:00 Noon.  The winner will be notified by email (please be sure we can reach you!)
Please be sure to check back here on Thursday for another giveaway!
