I should be doing laundry.
I should be sewing items for my shop.
I should be knitting.
I should be emptying the dishwasher.
I should be helping my mom.
I should be 15 pounds thinner.
I should be running.
I should be eating more vegetables.
I should be more patient with my kids.
I should be doing more for my husband.
I should be on top of things!!!
Do you ever get the should bes?
I try to be mindful of the moment that I live in. But it’s hard to prevent the should bes from creeping in.
I even had a bit of a meltdown the other day. And, of course, I felt guilty about that!
We rarely cut ourselves a break.
But I was exhausted form the holiday week, worried about getting my son back to college with an impending snowstorm, and thinking about all the should bes.
