I had the opportunity to create necktie clutch bags before Christmas last year for two different clients. I typically use four or five ties for each side. There’s usually enough fabric to get two clutch bags out of four ties, but I can work with more. The two sides can be similar or could be made with completely different ties.

In this example, my client wanted a tie and fabric from a dress shirt to be used. She also had a flannel shirt and I think that came out just lovely.

Hi. I am interested in having some clutches made from old ties. Is this something you can do? If yes, please send info on costs, time required etc. thank you very much
I can send you the information. Can you email me at maidenjane@gmail.com and I’ll send you the info. Thanks.
I didn’t see a tutorial for these beauties on your website. Would you be willing to share notes/steps? I’m a beginner with a student machine and would appreciate any pointers.
I don’t have a tutorial for these. You may find some helpful information on the web. I would suggest interfacing the ties with a woven interfacing.
