I had so much fun creating a collection of pillows and a tote for a client. We had a few phone discussions and many texts along the way. He sent me additional shipments after the first shipment because he had so many ideas. And then the finished results were sent off to his kids as gifts as well as a few he kept.
The Coogi sweaters are so fascinating. They are 3D knitted – with all kinds of colors and raised portions. He said he paid $350 for it back in the 80s, when Mike Ditka was coach of the bears. I am not sure if he made Coogi sweaters popular – I couldn’t find a photo.
The tote is approximately 6″ x 9″ and has a pocket. The pillow retains part of the sweater band on the bottom.
