I recently discovered Minted. It’s an interesting marketplace that brings together indie designers and artists and products you love.
I don’t have a lot of wall space in my home for sharing photos and art. But I do have a large area near our front door and down the stairs that I have been thinking about making into a gallery wall.  Every time I get a free photo offer, I order a print. I was thinking about adding other art pieces into the mix as well.
Minted is known for its wall art, which is created by independent artists. I’m not sure if I am going to go for all black and white or not, but you can narrow your search by color or themes.
You might think I’m a little weird (maybe it’s just the engineer in me) but I like these Construction and Power Lines prints. I find myself taking similar photos when I am out and about. I guess you could say I’m a somewhat linear person. (And you know how my son was fascinated with power lines!)
Or perhaps I would add a haunting image like this.
If I added an art print, it would probably be something like this. I love skylines – especially at night!
Since this wall is adjacent to my piano room, this Jazz Duet print would be perfect!
It’s going to take me a while to build up my collection and purchase frames for all of them! But I am excited about adding drama to that boring wall!
You might want to take a look around Minted’s beautiful blog Julep. It’s so pretty to just look at! But I also found some fun projects.  This Sewing Card Printables for Kids is a great way to teach youngsters how to sew. (I’m going to suggest Annie take them on her next babysitting job.)
And this Oscar Ballot Printable would be perfect for the Oscar’s! Are you watching?

Let me know your thoughts and ideas on a gallery wall. I’ve pinned a few ideas so, of course, I’m overwhelmed! But I have a vision bubbling up and it is fun to start gathering things to put on the wall.
