My niece got married a few weeks ago. The ceremony and reception were wonderful! She had all kinds of handmade accents that she made or purchased from Etsy. She also loves chevron! Here, you can see the color of her bridesmaid’s dresses and the cute, chevron button earrings. Annie also made clutches for the bridesmaids and used chevron. They are really adorable!
I knew that she would like a beach blanket, so I based the colors off of her invitation colors (which were purchased on Etsy.) I then decided to take it one step further. Since the invitation had the red and the aqua colors in it, plus some chevron, I scanned it in and printed the invitation on fabric at Spoonflower. I had it printed on the outdoor canvas and the quality is wonderful.
From there, I went online shopping for fabrics in the red and blue colorways – and with lots of chevron, of course! I love this blanket. The colors are so fun – it’s just perfect for the beach! I still use my blanket all the time. They are pricey because they start with 5 yards of fabric for the top and 5 yards of duck cloth for the bottom. I work with you to find fabrics that you love. And, then, I sew it! My niece and her new husband loved the blanket!
