A customer was so happy with my first quilt for her son she asked me to create a quilt for her daughter.  Some of the tee shirts were very small, but I was able to adapt them to fit.

Because of the disparate colors of the shirt, it was difficult to find a coordinating sashing fabric.  I selected a black fabric with mini hearts of various colors that tied in with the colors of the tees, including red, lime green and orange.

I worried that it wasn’t “little girly” enough.  Even though the customer gave me the flexibility to select the fabrics, I still worried.  And then I found this adorable fleece for the backing.  It tied in with the colors and the hearts and I think it’s completely “girly”.

I hope she likes it!
