What do you do with 5 or 6 old T Shirts, some of them “vintage”, sitting in a bin in your attic? You cut them up into a fun spirit scarf!
A simple design – single layer shirts, cut to about 8.5″ wide, serged together with the seams facing out so that the smooth, inside part of the shirt is against the skin. Then the entire perimeter is finished with a serged edge.
This scarf is 92″ long.
This is a great way to use up old shirts and show team spirit – especially when the weather isn’t quite fall/winter!
I’ve added the T Shirt Scarf as a custom listing in my shop!
Really cute! You picked a great school to feature, too. : )
Love it! Hope you are having a great weekend!
Hi! This is such a great idea– I can finally get rid of (ahem, I mean refashion) some of my husbands older shirts. I’m featuring this in a post I’m working on about upcyling clothes; I’ll use one photo and link back to you of course! Please let me know of any concerns! Palak at http://www.makeithandmade.com
