I created another set of three quilts made from vintage baby clothes. Many of these clothes were hand made by my client. We decided to feature one garment on each blanket to represent that it was made mainly from clothes. We filled in the spaces with sheets and curtains. I interfaced each block with a woven or knit. I wanted to add strength and increase the opacity of the curtain material. I considered adding a flannel batting but with the minky chenille, I found that was not necessary. The quilts are a good, heavy weight and I think the chenille complements the vintage designs.
