Thanks, Liz, over at Living My Sweet Life for tagging me in this fun little quiz!
1. What is one thing you just can not stand?
Oh boy, I have a list. In fact, I’ve got a number of pet peeves. But probably the thing I can’t stand the most is hypocrisy (including in myself.)
2. If you could go back to your childhood, what cartoon or t.v. show would you pick to be your all-time favorite?
Bewitched! I walked home for lunch and ate my lunch in front of the tv!
3. What’s something you do or have done that would surprise a lot of people?
Am I that boring that I can’t think of anything?
4. Do you believe in ghosts?
No.
5. When you go into a store what’s your weakness, something you just can’t help yourself from buying more of?
Fabric and yarn!
6. What is the funniest story you have on your significant other?
He makes me laugh in many ways, but I can’t think of a particular story that I can share – he’d kill me anyway for sharing anything personal on the internet. Instead, I’ll tell you that the day he met me he told his mom that he met the girl he was going to marry….
7. What is your proudest moment of being a parent? {animals do count ;)}
Sigh, I’ve been humbled too many times by parenthood. Sure, there have been honors, concerts galore, scholarships, good report cards, awards, etc….but there’s been pain and heartache, too. So let’s just go back to the beginning and say that I’m most proud of bringing these four amazing kids into the world!
8. If you could go back and relive one day of your life, which day would you choose?
I’d pick any number of days that I shared with my dad….how ’bout when he would take me to the “Top of the Town” restaurant – just me and him – for a good report card. Now that he’s gone, I’d relish those days even more.
Stacy, of Golden Bird Knits, would you like to play?
Do you have fun plans for the weekend? We are planning a Tuscany dinner, just to indulge my desire to play with my water bottles!&nb
sp; I have such romantic visions of outdoor dinners under the Tuscan sun…..I did a little research and we are busily creating a little dining area under our deck…the meal will have about six courses. We are all looking forward to it! I will take pictures to share with you.
Ohhh…I would so love to have a fabulous little Tuscan dinner!! When we were in Assisi my husband and I had a glorious lunch overlooking an olive grove. *Sigh*
Oh I love this… I used to practice and practice, but my nose would never switch like Samantha’s 🙂 ah, a dinner in Italy does sound glorious!
My heart skipped a beat when I saw my name! Yes, I would love to play. I will post my answers soon.
It was fun learning more about you. Your time with your father at the Top of the Town sounds wonderful.
Can’t wait to hear about your Tuscan dinner and see some pics. I have wanted to go to Tuscany for many years … loved that movie, too.
yay!
I always enjoy reading everyone else’s answers. I missed when you posted this because we had a crazy storm here in NY and my area was hit hardest so we had no internet for days. I think I went thru a blogging withdrawal!
